There are many people in Clark County who struggle to pay their electric bills, especially during these chilly times of year when people may have to choose an electric bill over other necessities. Yes, there are government programs out there, but many households don’t qualify for these programs. This is why Operation Warm Heart was created by Clark Public Utilities to support those that don’t qualify for government programs but are families in crisis who have limited income and can’t pay their electric bill. Since the program’s creation in 1985, more than 11,000 Clark County customers have received nearly $2.4 million in grants.
Every year at our Burgerville locations in Clark County, we are honored to help fundraise for Operation Warm Heart. This year Burgerville guests donated $19,500. Thank you to everybody who participated. Through your generosity, 65 families were helped.
